DSE maps EU & national COVID-19 measures to support business

On 25 March 2020, the DSE Secretariat produced a first report identifying the main measures adopted by some key European countries to support businesses impacted by the COVID-19. The first edition of the report reports on countries such as Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland and the UK.

Contrary to other documents prepared by other organisations, this report provides information targeting SMEs and self-employed persons, particularly our direct sellers. Further to a summary of the measures adopted so far, this document provides practical information about the administrative procedures to request the financial/economic aid, as well as the documents to be filled in and sent to the relevant authorities.

The report will be updated regularly to include the different developments of key EU Member States and Switzerland.

The report was shared with DSE Members on the 25th of March. Additional copies can be requested directly at the DSE Secretariat.
